schedule looks even better in retrospect. consider how a few plays here and there can change a season. marshall, wright st, syracuse, buffalo were all pretty winnable for us. add them to kansas (loss), and the wins over penn (ncaa/ivy champ), texas southern (ncaa/swac/won play-in game), st joes (4th best A10 team), oakland, EMU... one of the deeper schedules rockets have played in a while.

Marshall lost to West Virginia 94-71 in the NCAA. Marshall ends the season with a 25-11 record, 12-6 in Conference USA.
