Gary Sanders - hospitalized.
Don't know any details, but I saw on facebook that Gary Sanders has been hospitalized in very serious condition. He is at UAB hospital.

Any one have additional info.

I saw someone on Twitter mention him having a bacterial infection.

Coach Bartow's former secretary (Judy) posted a prayer request for Gary, for a "serious bacterial infection." That's all I know.

Since Gary was the "Voice of Auburn Football" for many years, he probably has prayer support from fans of both schools. His most frequently replayed broadcast from that period is the "Punt Bama Punt" game in 1972.

I'm not real sure why UAB fans have an issue with Eli Gold. Eli is good at what he does.

I have always found everything, his voice, everything, annoying and grating. If he had done more than one year at UAB, I might not have been as big a UAB fan.

Here I was thinking of him as the spokesperson for the Town and Country Ford dealership here in Pell City.
