My point was the fact that al Qaeda clearly had a relationship with Baghdad before the war commenced which is what the 9-11 Senate Report stated but most leftists refuse to acknowledge.

Obama took a huge political risk giving the thumbs up for that mission. It would have been far easier to wave it off for another day.

There is not much I praise Obama for, but he put his political capitol on the line to get bin Laden and deserves the credit for it.

Additionally another suspect, Ahmed Abu Khatallah, was captured (under Obama) in 2014 by US Special Forces and FBI Agents and is currently on trial.

Also, the trump administration has yet to my knowledge to indicate what role Mustafa al-Imam actually played in the attack. So it may be premature to say he was THE terrorist behind it.
