According to him, those are high school times. Just sayin...

If he is slower than 4.5 I will be suprised. I would guess when the combine comes around he will time 4.49 or lower.

Plenty of receivers have played in the league while running a 4.6. They had other tools that made up for their lack of track speed. Same with Miller. Route running, hands, toughness, football IQ and work ethic more than make up for a lack of blazing speed. On top of all of that - he is just a model citizen.

I am not sure if this means he is FAST or NOT FAST. It is from his bio on the MEMPHIS TIGERS roster. He looks fast and elusive to me. " The 2013 Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Division II Class AA state 110m hurdles champion (14.44) ... Undefeated in the 110m hurdles in 2013 ... Also TSSAA Division II Class AA state runner-up in the long jump (22-11.75) ... Two-time regional 110m hurdles champion in 2012 and 2013 ... Holds school records in the long jump, triple jump, 300m hurdles and 110m hurdles. "

That means he's a phenomenal athlete - whether you like his 40 times or not. Those records are at CBHS - so pretty legit.

Also makes it even more puzzling how he had no real D1 offers. Unranked by the gurus at Rivals and Scout. 247 had him as a 2-star and #43 in the state in their own rankings, but unranked on the 247 composite.

Cowboys better spend their first round pick (probably #32) on the defense.

That's true.
Don't know about now.
Was a long time ago, but I believe Howard Twilley was 4.7 or 4.8

They obviously need to continue to build their defense, but I don't think a defense player in the first round is a must have this year. They took a DE with the first pick last year and have a lot of young talent on the DL now. So I doubt they will be locked into taking defense only this year with that first pick. A defensive player is more likely but not a must have. Last year was really the "must have" defensive pick.

I think its comes down to what is still on the board when they pick. If the right defense player is available you take him. But if they really like an OL, WR or TE that is still available, then they will probably consider taking him.
