I understand offensive efficiency. It was the comment that someone made about rating players on the basis of +/- 110 efficiency that threw me off. Sounded like the efficiency was the driver to the algorithm. Volume can be countered with minutes, so that wouldn't seem to drive it.
But I'll take your word for it because I'm not going to the site to sort it all out.

Yeah, because here are the predictions for stat outputs for individual players:
Guy gets Kudos for doing a good predection job...
Martin is way low but he is outperforming anyones expectations
Davenport is a little low but the rest are pretty close as far as totals.
We are more efficient than he expected though.
