WMSB Post-Game Analysis: W&M @ Maine
Well, that one hurt as well. Stat of the day: Through 8 games, W&M has been outscored in the first half by a score of 106-29. In CAA play, W&M has been outscored in the first half by a score of 79-6. Can't imagine that isn't the worst in Jimmye Laycock's tenure.

As bad as Shon Mitchell has been so far this season, but noting that we won't make the playoffs this year, we're all for Shon starting the rest of the season, simply to develop. Though we don't say that with much confidence based on what we've seen so far from him seen this season. We know he has all the talent in the world, and we love him to death. But we need to see more out of him -- and he knows it. Interested to see how Jimmye handles the QB situation moving forward.

I’m surprised how the O-line hasn’t been what we thought it would this year. Mitchell, or whoever is under Center, hasn’t had much time to let a play develop for more than a couple of seconds. It also seems like the WRs have not been pulling in some balls they normally do; a couple where they’re hit in the hands in the end zone but then it’s incomplete come to mind.
