The Dukes had a scrimmage today. I only stayed for a little bit, but thought it was strange that it was a "closed" scrimmage. In years past, this was a good opportunity on homecoming week to get fans able to see the team in action. We will see if Rowe can Coach his own players and not repeat last year's debacle.

Did dukes crush?

I watched the first half...it was an intra squad scrimmage with referees. I was generally impressed by the team. This is not a last place team by any stretch. They'll be fine.

How about the women’s team? Apparently they scrimmaged yesterday too

The women spanked UVA. Even though UVA was without their best player it was still a very impressive start for the women.

Sounds like Coach O made a good call in increasing the intensity of the practices. I think the ladies are going to be very, very good this year.
