We can't do that unless UCF beats USF AND loses 2 other games (not happening), OR

USF loses one game, then beats UCF, but has a lower CFP ranking than Memphis, while Memphis runs the remaining table. In THAT scenario, Memphis gets home field.

Well, if we have many more injuries on D, it won't matter b/c we won't have enough players to play the game, lol.

You have to pull for whatever advantages you might be able to have.

I know where you are coming from. I would just rather play an undefeated opponent in the championship game, even on the road. If we win, we are conference champs and I would think we take a big lead in the poll, especially if we don't lose another game.

i have usf winning but easily is a stretch
houston might be the most talented squad in the AAC, roster wise...remove the 5 turnovers a game ..which are mental errors , and houston is undefeated and not one game close....

The Houston - USF series is rather weird, with the Cougars winning two AAC matchups in 2013 and 2014, and USF winning two C-USA games in 2001 and 2002. So this is the rubber match, for now.

I hate to say this but I think it is best for UCF and the AAC that USF wins. I don't think it will be easy.

FWIW, it won't affect the AAC. Even if Houston beats us today, we'll just run the table from there and get the NY6 slot anyway.

And I don't hate to say at all that I hope Austin Pea somehow beats UCF by a score of 55-0. Better yet, make it 60-0. And i couldn't care less what impact it has on the AAC, UCF losing always comes first.
