Nice when they close lot 10 all day, impacting 100s of students and staff looking to park there, meanwhile 2 or 3 RVs are parked there all day. No need to close that major lot all day long. Is a real pain in the %^$ for parking permit paying drivers. Go ahead and close the two lots next to Savage only.

Then you are dealing with towing tons of students cars about 3 hours prior to game time... Lots of kids have class from 12 to 6 or whatever and cant move their vehicles. Its easier just to close the lots all together.

But if there were some lots to keep half day parking itd be the further ones out. Lot 9 and 10 HAVE to be closed all day because proximity to the stadium and amt. of fans who pay decent bucks to park there... Some feel entitled? But they pay the moneys so im okay with it.

I want to know how NIU folks get in lot10 and the ROTC areas? How much do those lots cost for 1 game?

For a 6:00 start time ESPN should provide valet parking.

Oh, and dinner.

UT does not have a parking problem. It has a walking problem

Aussie rules football. I used to love watching that.

MAC announced changes in start times before the start of last season as I recall. They had been getting lots of complaints about how long the games would go (a lot of MAC games seem to push 4 hours) and with 7:30 or 8:00 typical start times, games were finishing well after 11 and people getting home after midnight on weeknights. As I recall they announced an agreement with ESPN that going forward that no game would start later than 7 and they would experiment with some earlier starts to see what affect that had on attendance and viewership.

All people I have talked to love the 6pm start...cuts out on tailgating, but fans can stay the entire length of the game.
