I think we should take all the money we spend / bet on sports and expenditures related to sports and instead spend it on improving education in this country.

TOTALLY agree. We should boycott ALL professional sports, but since some of that money does go to help education, that's a bit counterproductive.

Since quite a bit of the money raised by collegiate sports goes to education, then you point is very counterproductive.

Both CBS and NBC locally have said that the rain should be out of the area by around 5pm, if not earlier. Looks like good weather, but cold for the game.

I will be there. Was at the Hurricane Harvey game, so this one other than cold, should be even easier. Just went out yesterday and bought some rubber hunting boots just in case. Team deserves our presence, I expect this game to be a tight contest. Go Tigers.

i did the Harvey game. i have to sit this one out, to my chagrin. Broken arm. cast needs to stay dry. new metal plate, not wanting to feel the chill.
