Dunno.. UTSA I had heard a few people talk about Antifa planning something on November 4th, and it had been making the rounds on reddit (which I don't read so I can only go by what I heard)... And so the first thing went through my head was they were trying to emulate the importance of the Gunpowder Plot (except they got the date wrong on that one)...
So I don't know what it was supposed to involve (or if it was even supposed to happen)

I think there’s something to this (not the I feel bad for them part, though).
Some of these people, admittedly from both sides, but I’d suggest more deep-Enders are clearly on the left, are so committed to the “cause”, whatever that is, that it consumes them.
They don’t place any value in religion, they don’t (generally) spend time out fishing, hunting, other such activities. Likely live in congested areas where they are surrounded by like minded, narrowly focused people that have adopted this claptrap as that which fills a void.
