Ball state?
Hate to ever throw a game on automatic win column but wow. What on earth is going on in Muncie. Ball state has not seen the end zone in over a month and is being outscored something 135-15 in its last several games. When I see numbers like that I think internal dysfunction/bad locker room. Any BSU fans know what is going on

I know they are on their 3rd quarterback.
I believe he is a true freshman.

They also play in Indiana, and not sure if you’ve noticed this, but besides Notre Dame who for some reason can claim Chicago, the rest of their teams are historically garbage. Now imagine being the fourth best option in the state of Indiana....not much hope for that program.

Mike Neu is only in season 2. He's a home grown pick so I'm sure he gets time for a full rebuild. Not sure what to make of the cmu game. They had a week to prepare and it was homecoming. Maybe cmu is pretty good after all. Came off a tough 3 game stretch at wku at wmu and at Akron. 3rd string qb is tough to overcome

3rd string QB tough to overcome, but these numbers are obscene. I have not seen one snap of BSU football, but Id be surprised if there is some not big time quit on the team or some type of internal problems.

Agree that injuries are the main problem.
Would not be surprised to see them vastly improved next year.

They were at least competitive more often than not. Even with all those injuries , you have to have quit added in there for those kind of numbers BSU is putting up. I guess that's a testament to Coach Novak, lost more than half his team and they still brought it each week

Novak was great.

Carey is not too shabby either.

RE: Ball state?
I think Huskies will have a chance to get better after Toledo.

Ball State's last 4 games

Opponents 200
Ball State 32

50 pt a game average for opponents

Ball State was close against Toledo for a while in that game. I suspect their defense gets worn out when the offense can't do anything. I believe they are down to their #4 QB so just bad luck this year for them.

Hard for a Defense to get worn out in a quarter. Toledo played very conservative until they got the wind at their back in 2nd quarter. Then they opened up the downfield passing game. The Cardinals definitely have problems after losing their QBs and an All MAC RB.
