We've Been Going About Realignment The Wrong Way, Backwards!
Nobody can solve the appropriate division of schools until we first form a new P Conference. I call it ..........

"The Leper Colony"

Duke, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina

Baylor, S.M.U., Texas, Tulane

Connecticut, Notre Dame, Penn State, Miami

Boise State, Brigham Young, Nevada Las Vegas, Oregon State
***************************************************
Why:

Duke & North Carolina (A true gang of two that conspire together and against each other)

Louisville and Miami (general malfeasance and sustained image issues)

Baylor (the school who turned coeds into sex victims)

S.M.U. (they were resurrected from the death penalty and gave us Craig James)

Texas (the rich kid who plays bully while hiding behind daddy's oil money)

Tulane (point shaving and the inability to make up their minds about athletics)

Connecticut (fans whine constantly)

Notre Dame (they want to affiliate with your conference for the perks, but don't want to share their grid iron prominence to help you out).

Penn State (the place where you are afraid to take a shower)

Miami (deserves to play in the northeast with the others and for decades of general thuggery)

Brigham Young (cause they got nowhere else to go)

Boise State (nobody with blue turf deserves to be in a P5 conference)

UNLV ('cause their in Vegas and we still haven't forgiven Tarkanian)

Oregon State (they've had their share of issues for a backwoods backwater)

Once those are out of the way realignment should be simpler for everyone.
