Don’t know if anyone knew this but he played in the band here while attending the UofM. Apparently he dropped out and was just a few credits shy of graduating. Would be really cool if they gave him an honorary degree seeing as he is one of the best country singer/songwriters out there today. Did anyone know him while he was here?

He actually was a single class away from graduating if I remember right.

I read an article a while back that said he was a phys ed class shy of graduating.

No kidding! Hell, some of his guitar solo's should qualify.

He did this cover at a show I went to in Birmingham. I think it qualifies for a phys ed credit!

Start the program the UNC has, and mail him a degree or two.

I audited racquetball for 2 semesters, just so I could play in the tournaments. I'll give him 2 hours.

I friggin' love the DBT. Don't care as much for Isbell's solo work, but I am proud that he is a Tiger.
