Relevance of the never-Trumpers?
http://www.nationalreview.com/article/45...ore-issues
"The president’s fiercest critics still do not grasp that Trump is a symptom, not the cause of the GOP’s internal strife. For all the talk of a Civil War in the Republican party over Donald Trump, 90 percent of Republicans ended up voting for him....
Meanwhile, the administrative state expands, the debt is headed for $21 trillion, crass identity politics tear the nation apart, the effort to restore deterrence abroad grows ever more dangerous, and the campuses, Hollywood, the NFL, and the media are reminding us that progressive politics are now our culture’s orthodoxy, vital for success in nearly all fields. And dealing with all that is the only conservative fight that counts."

Raises the question, what are the never-Trumpers fussing about? Seems like its nothing but personality. And Trump still got as many Republicans as McCain.

90% is too high for Republicans that voted for him. The insurgence to the Republican base were Liberal Democrats who got fed up with Hillary Clinton. Now, you have a lot of Liberal Republicans that are part of Trump's base. Most of the others voted for Johnson, Clinton or stayed home. It would be interesting to see if Sanders won the Democratic nominee instead of Hillary Clinton. He was against all the free trade crap, and wanted to end it himself. If I run for President under the D word? I would tear up the NAFTA and CAFTA on the first day in office, and redo the free trade from scratch that I will have in it that Mexico and other countries must give the same minimum wage and benefits for their employees. That could end the mass migration of Illegals coming to the USA once they get the same pay wage that we get in their own country.

Good luck getting other countries to raise the minimum wage. In Mexico they get around 40 bucks a week. A housecleaning lady from Mexico can get more in one day working in the US. Even here in the US fast food workers think their work deserves the same wage as college professionals. That's stupid.
