I am not degrading anyone but usm dominated the statistics, twice as many first downs, twice time of posession, etc and with a cracker jack quarterback in charge it could have been worse. Yet, we could have lost but not likely and just wondering.

Or imagine if we don't throw a pick 6 OR fumble on the 1 yard line.

Agreed. We could have a really good team once we get Griggs back. I can't wait until we get our starting QB back.

Well when you consider Griggs own starts against 3-4 ULM and 4-3 fcs opponent Southern, the WINS Howard has are against better competition and therefore are more impressive! I'm not saying he should have the starting job handed to him but I don't think it would be a "undergrad" move to keep him in place,

Those stats don't matter, you got to be able to score 7 when the field shortens in the red zone. A good kicker helps but USM sacrifice 28 points for 12
