Norvell? He doesn't need to rush anything. Would need to be the right fit.

Nebraska is too cheap to pay Frost. Riley makes $2.7M and just signed an extension last month. Currently they are paying 2 fired coaches $4.5M. Frost will make $2.3-2.7 next year, why would he take a job that is more than twice as hard for a small pay increase?

There's probably going to be lots of jobs available but if I were Frost, do you really want any of them?

I hear Frost's name with Nebraska and Oregon State. Ok. Solid schools but tough places to recruit and compete in. Or do you hold out for a big money situation where you can also recruit? Like say UF?

Yep.

Now if Texas A&M offers $4M+, he needs to go.

You actually think Nebraska won't find a way to get their favorite son? C'mon man. If Riley gets fired, Frost is gone.

Arkansas will probably go after Morris. Bielema hurt Arkansas recruiting of Texas with his comments and antics.

Why? So he can compete against Nick Saban and get fired in 3 years? Frost will be choosey when he decides to leave. The SEC is tough bc they’re great institutions but Saban has been costing so many coaches their jobs.

If Frost does decide to leave UCF, would it be Nebraska, or maybe a high recruit area, like UCLA. What are the chances Mora returns. Recruiting is one of his strengths, I feel Nebraska would be a lot harder. To get Frost, the price is going to be high.

There's no way Frost has any interest in Oregon State.

With Nebraska I think he will consider it but I wonder how loyal he really is to them. Nebraska fans are obsessed with him but the guy didn't even pick Nebraska as a recruit out of HS.

I don't expect Frost to stay at UCF 5 years but I think he would be stupid to take the Nebraska job. It's easy to look like a star recruiter in Orlando recruiting against Memphis, USF, and mid level ACC Programs. Good luck trying to gain the talent advantage in the Big10 recruiting against Urban Meyer, James Franklin, and Harbaugh.

With coaches is not just about pay it’s about ego and competing at the top. Whether we like it or not at UCF or USF a coach is out of playoffs. If Frost was 6-0 at Nebraska they would be top 10 right now and if you think they won’t pay more than UCF does for him you are fooling yourself.
I’m not saying he will go to Nebraska but he will have some nice high paying jobs to offer him and if you think a coach like him is afraid of going head to head with Saban or Urban then you really don’t understand a coaches mentality

I agree with you that Nebraska will pay more than UCF for Frost but how much more? Nebraska is more than twice as hard of a job than UCF, will Nebraska pay twice as much as UCF? No.

Oh, I agree, my point is that they are going to have to pay. Frost ain't leaving for $2.7M.

Don't discount UF. Things are getting heated up in Gainesville. Mac just had a weird press conference claiming he has been getting death threats. Then the UF admin released a statement basically discounting it. I believe UF would be his ideal landing spot and certainly is a better job than Nebraska.

Love Nebraska fans saying he would open up recruiting to Florida. Maybe a couple of players but I don’t see Florida kids dying to move to Nebraska

I agree. Nebraska has done its best to kill its recruiting base. UCF is a good job. But if Frost is patient. He could land a better job than Nebraska.

Well kids are dying to go to Louisville, KY...wait that is because of large payouts, hookers, and paying families to attend games. Nevermind

Not only that but Frost hasn't been in Florida 2 years and suddenly he is suppose to have pipelines.
