Jimbo Fisher Challenges Heckling Fan
At least Captain Grubbs just told a heckling fan to get a job. Jim Bob takes it to another level. I get being frustrated at the loss but a fan yells "new coaches" and Fisher acts like the dude called out his wife for being employed in a house of ill repute. These million dollar coaches need to get a thicker skin and get out of their safe spaces.

That is priceless.

I was giving Jim Calhoun the beer fueled fan business one time at a game and he handled it like a Champ.. made me shut the **** up and feel silly. He pointed at me he waved and he laughed.

Coach 1, Fan nil...

"New coaches!"

78-17 combined record prior to this year. 5 top 10 finishes. A national championship. 3 ACC championships.

Can't believe he even responded to that idiot.

This.

The best thing that Fisher could have done...and taught his players to do...is just walk down the tunnel. If you're going to play pro-sports, you're going to have to deal with this crap the rest of your career. Just walk away, and when the reporter asks the question, you just say, "Next question."

Of course, it does make for a funny movie...

They threw him out of the stadium for saying "new coaches"? Someone needs a safe space and an emotional support tent.

Jim Bob defends his crying players and asks for safe space...

Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher said Monday he doesn't regret responding to a fan who called for coaching changes as the team left the field after Saturday's loss to Louisville.

As Fisher walked toward the tunnel at Doak Campbell Stadium, he stopped and reportedly told the fan to come to the field and repeat his call for coaching changes. Fisher said Saturday he should not have responded but wanted to defend his assistants and players, whom he considers family.

The coach on Monday said he doesn't expect such remarks from Florida State fans in the team's stadium.

"I'm looking at the hurt and watching our kids cry," Fisher said Monday. "And I look at the coaches, and how hurt they were. And coaches' kids are standing right there by the tunnel, and listening to that guy. I understand [fans are] hurt ... But to hear one of our fans reaching over and saying that, about our coaches in front of their own kids, and in front of their own players -- I don't [regret it] one bit.

"That doesn't belong there."

Fisher added that he has "total confidence" in the coaching staff.

Florida State fell to 2-4 with the Louisville loss and is 0-3 at home for the first time since 1974. The Seminoles next play Friday night at Boston College.

College coaches are great ... it's always about the kids. Jimbo ego was bruised, nothing more nothing less.
