It's a rivalry game, anyway, so records don't matter much.

That's what I love about the MAC. Anyone can be had at any time. Great fun! Will CMU come out like it did against Toledo, or will we come out like Ball State/Kansas? No one knows! I think our freshman QB should face your
freshman QB. I don't want a scUM (choke) transfer playing in this game! Good luck to you guys (I'm not suppose to say that, but I did anyway).

RE: payback time
Should be an interesting game. Our game plan will likely be pretty conservative with a true freshman QB in there. We'll only pass enough to keep CMU honest on defense.

My real question is which WMU Defense will show up? Our secondary has been pretty suspect the last couple of games. If your passing game is hitting on all cylinders this could get ugly for Western.

We'll emphasize ball control and hope we can move the ball enough to keep our punting squad playing mumbletypeg on the sidelines.

Dress warm and drink lots of warm beverages.

Yup. I'll still have my halloween costume on (Harvey Weinstein w/ bathrobe and adult diaper) with warmed white russians to drink, and surrounded by my beeeches.

Whatever it takes. I'm also thinking Gwilly needs a healthy number of carries tonight. He could be even harder to tackle than usual in the rain.

Central's defense is embarrassing. They are out of position and can't even stop the run when they blitz 2 defenders. Going to be a blowout.

Yep. DC Colby will be/should be gone at end of season. OL coach as well.

Holy crap. Wmu was pushing them around and then wmu stops running and goes with pass in the rain. Anyways I left to shoot some hoops and came back. All I can say is I'm surprised. Was it a CMU win or a WMU choke?

We made good halftime adjustments and played well enough to win after shooting ourselves in the foot a couple times. Held WMU to one TD after halftime while scoring four. It was all CMU in the 4th quarter. WMU is a completely one-dimensional team right now with the freshman QB, and we handled the rain better after a rough start on offense...and a couple bad turnovers on special teams.

Congratulations. Bonamego out-coached Lester.

I'm afraid we just hired our 'Enos'.

Thanks. Don't be too hard on the moLESTER, it's his first year. We simply got lucky. I know how you feel having lived through the Anus Enos era/error. MoLESTER is nothing like Enos! MoLESTER shows interaction/communication with his players/coaches, something Enos never did. Enos used to spend halftime at the urinal, and then drive home to Midland. Arrogant, selfish, and soon to be unemployed. MoLESTER is none of those things. I actually like his demeanor. He saves the screaming for the locker room.

Lester has already won 2 more games than Enos did in his first year.

At least he won’t be 3-9 back to back like Enos was...

So you got that going for ya....
