Rutgers at James Madison women's hoops game:
Kelly Koshuta is certainly key for the Lady Dukes. Rutgers only won 6 games last year but Coach Vivian Stringer (with 3 Final Fours and an NCAA title game appearance in 2007 on her resume) is relying on some newcomers and transfers of her own to try and rebound. I expect a close game, what do you expect?

RE: Rutgers at James Madison women's hoops game:
Crazy that the basketball season is upon us. I am eager to see how this team plays and hopefully, they will beat Rutgers and Tennessee. Should be fun. I admit that I am not that in tune this year in all sports as I was last year or the year before. So a little lost on the talent we have etc...

It will be nice to see Kelly on the court and to have Kayla back. I'm also interested to see the two freshmen, especially Tori Harris as I remember her brother playing for Tennessee. I do wish we had Ferguson for the first semester, but January will be here soon enough. I'll be out of town Veteran's Day weekend (business) but back for the rest of the games. Go Dukes!

RE: Rutgers at James Madison women's hoops game:
Looking forward to the start of the Lady Dukes season. Probably won't make the exhibition game against CNU as the wife and I will be driving back from NYC after the Rhode Island game the day before. Depends on how much I can con the wife into going!!!

Will be great to have Kayla back this season as her absence last year really messed things up. Also looking forward to seeing Kelly and Debra (after 1st semester ends!!) plus the freshman. Team should have a big front line and I would think that the scoring will be spread around a lot. Looking to see 7 -8 players averaging 8-10 or so pts/gm.

Major issue early on I think will be the team finding its identity and fleshing out everyones roles. By conference play I would think they will be rolling!!

Go Dukes!!

ROOTIN!!

My sentiments exactly. While I have high hopes that the team does well in preseason (especially in the two big games to start things off), I will be happier if they use these games to jell as a unit and get a good rotation going so once conference plays the group can start rolling through the conference.

Should be a great time!!

Last season was easily the worst in C Viv’s 21 year tenure at RU. They should be improved, and Tyler Scaife is back and poised to have a hell of a season in her last year at RU. I don’t think they have enough to really make a splash in the B1G though. Hoping B1G disrespect leads the team to play with a chip on their shoulders and something to prove all season long.

Absent much research I’d call this one a tossup and hopefully a very fun game.

Neither JMU nor Rutgers got any votes in the Coaches Poll. Florida State is #14. UVA is #35. VT and Kenny Brooks are #47. Elon is #49.

That's because the idiots are still looking at last year. Otherwise why would Washington still even be ranked? They lost almost everyone and now their projected starting PG is out for who knows how long with an "undisclosed injury". But then I think preseason polls are stupid, to say the least. There is really nothing to go on.

She'll be coaching until she's dead and maybe even after. Just look for the skeleton on the bench....

Big 10 network women's preview show said Rutgers and Purdue have the 2 best defenses in the conference and Rutgers will use the press.
