RE: New Hampshire @ JMU Thread
I could see this being 28-17 or 28-21. UNH seems more balanced than past weeks. I have concerns around our inability to hold on to the ball, especially in the pass game. Per usual Turnovers and our ability to limit penalties will make or break the game. I could see UNH trying to get ahead early with challenging through the air. If we dont force turnovers, 3 of the last 4 games have us with 3 turnovers on D and W&M had 6, we could struggle to get on and off the field. While our D has been lights out, we have had the luxury of dominating thru one phase and forcing poor decisions in the other aspect of the opposing O. Our response to a balanced offense I think will give us a very good insight to how we can challenge teams with multiple offensive threats. This and Richmond will be our biggest tests prior to playoffs. Very excited for the game, hoping to see more growth from Marcus Marshall and the run game.

Maine, GSU, URI, Bryant, Towson

This! And they only beat Maine when the Bears missed an XP. GSU might be the worst FBS team in the country this year - they make ECU look like Notre Dame.

Plus they got housed by Holy Cross, who has now been so bad they've fired their coach in a horrendous Patriot League this year.

This may really be the best offense JMU has seen, but there's no question at all that JMU is by far the best team UNH has seen all year.

Dukes roll.

Dukes will roll
Ecu had a stronger passing game and more athletic receivers -
We shut them down no problem
I would be surprised to see UNH put up more than 10 -and that’s if they get a turnover and flip the field .
Our offense will be able to name their points in this game .
UNH D is not even close to being on the same athletic level as our skill players
42-7 dukes
Could be worse .

They have a 69th ranked rushing attack. 100 ypg fewer than us against a much worse sos. I'd say it's borderline to say they're truly balanced. It's not awful, it's not great either. Most of their rushing is their QB too.

I'm calling it right now. UNH's playoff streak ends this year.

Currently outside the top 25 and they aren't beatin JMU. They have no one left on their schedule to boost their resume, except for Elon. And if Elon's cinderalla story crashes against Nova, even a win against the Phoenix may not do it.

Fair point, I was highlighting that they are more balanced then the last few opponents we have faced.

Sounds about right.

Sean and his amazing run of playoff appearances come to an end this year.

UNH's offense yields them a few FGs and a garbage-time TD while we romp.

56-16 JMU.

Looks to me like UNH is currently ranked #16/17 in the Coaches/Stats polls.

If UNH is borderline (7-4 or better) I think they have a shot regardless of the polls. Offically the committee isn’t bound to the polls and has their own internal ranking they release the last few weeks.

Believe UNH’s AD led the selection committee for quite a few years and IMO is heavily networked there. That alone may give them an edge if they can meet the criteria. If they finish #6 or lower in CAA, then I don’t see it. It would be surprising to see more than 5 teams get in.

You're right. I was looking at the AGS poll that has them out. I think they'll need to beat JMU and Elon.

I think we blow them out, 52-14. They score one legit TD in the first half, one garbage TD in the fourth quarter.

I think we get two picks, maybe three or four. NH is a one-dimensional (passing) team against us and our pass D will give them fits. We should blow them out early.
