Troy will follow what UMASS did and just throw deep on every play. 1 out of every 3 throws will go for a TD.

I'd be willing to bet Neal Brown has called up UMass head coach Mark Whipple to get some tips. Whipple used to be Brown's head coach and still have a good relationship.

He doesn't need any help. Just throw to the wide open receiver in the middle of the field.

I would like to see Silvers have a 400 yard pass day...

I would like to see Kaleb Barker get some snaps - at least a series or two.

I doubt it. Coaches usually don't do that in the middle of the season.

RE: Troy vs Georgia Southern
I have this gut feeling that Southern will SHOW UP for this contest. The vibe on campus is back and the swagger from the players has returned. I understand the performance on the field has been catastrophic, but this team doesn't lack talent. A few of their leaders on defense were able to get on the field vs UMASS and knock the rust off during a horrible performance. QB Kado was able to get his feet wet in the new uniform as well. This team is healthy and they want to play for Coach Lunsford.

Expect a fight vs Troy this Saturday by the Eagles. It's by far the most optimistic I've been all season!

Don't get your hopes up too high. I promise you that effort is not even close to the biggest issue this team has.

Georgia Southern could very well win if Troy repeats the performance they had against USA. It's going to be a tough task though.

You guys could come out with a lot of fire and excitement, but will that be enough? From what I've seen on TV so far, there are a lot of fundamental/technique issues with those players that typically aren't fixed in less than a week.

Not likely to happen, this is the same team from last week just a little more motivated. I imagine we get down by two scored it snowballs. Troy is going to have to play horrible and give us a bunch of turnovers.

Come on Troy they need a break. It's been a tough year. Give a brother a hand.

We gave em a break last year. I think the new coach is good enough break for them this year.

Hopefully this will be the first game of a 7 game winning streak!

The bad: Troy will beat Georgia Southern like a prison dick.

The good: Nobody cares because everybody will be watching Penn State vs. Ohio State and Georgia vs. Florida.
