Congrats. First outright regular season title in school history (I think our only other one was a co-title). I would think that we have a good shot at an NCAA bid even if we don't win the conference tournament title but no reason to give the NCAA a reason to keep us at home.

Correct. According to the riceowls.com game story: "In 2012 the Owls shared the C-USA regular season crown with then league member Colorado College. The Blue & Gray have also won the C-USA Tournament in both 2005 and 2014 ..."

Not enough can be said about the ranking. Top 25 was the stated goal by the AD and agreat job by the Soccer team and program for getting there.

The ladies have stepped up across the board: Soccer, cross country, tennis, swimming, volleyball and now to-be-expected in basketball.

Fantastic year for the Lady Owls. They have a lot of pressure on them to sustain their rankings through the tournament and the remaining game against North Texas as a result of being in such a mediocre conference. So far they have been up to the task.

The RPI ranking is up to #28. If we keep winning, we will be set up nicely for the NCAA tournament.
