Needs three, but will have Stock back for the remaining games. Could beat all the remaining games or lose the last two. WKU being your hardest remaining game is fortunate. 70% chance.

I would not say that was fortunate.

Would rather have played those teams with Urzua, and had Stockstill back for Marshall, FAU, and UAB. Not saying we would win all 3 with Stockstill (and our horrid O-Line)......... but at least we'd have a fighting chance.

Well, when you consider that Urzua handed 14 points to Marshall and the fact that Brent is at least 20 points better you could argue it.

However, the OL situation is already dire and with the additional injuries that occurred I don't think it would have mattered. Of course Brent rarely holds the ball longer than 2-seconds, but considering we couldn't run it at all he would have had to do it all by himself. Marshall's DL was eating lunch. It just seems unlikely we could have pulled it off. Alas, we will never know. It's a lost year we will never get back.

But hey the good news is this is when the Raiders turn it on - long after the chance to be relevant in the conference championship race is past.

I just hope McPhee does not get another free vacation to the Bahamas partially on my tax dollar.

If we go 6-6, then you can probably bet your ass we will be the first team not going anywhere (since it appears there are more BE teams this year than bowls).

That would be the third time this decade. They can put that on the media guide. No FBS teams has been snubbed more than the Raiders. We can wear it as a badge of honor. Like flair in Office Space.

I hope you play 5-7 Wake Forest. It would be magical.

I would like FAU to play 5-7 FSU in the gasparilla bowl. That
WOULD be magical. We have never been able to schedule
a game against them despite being an in-state school.

FSU would decline a bowl if they go 5-7.

I don't know if they would because they have bowl streak of 27 years they are proud of and i dont know if they would end if they could save it. Also, imagine is FSU ducked an instate school. They would be a running joke for awhile.

I seriously doubt FSU is going to have the APR to get in at 5-7

The fumble wasn't on Urzua, but that pick 6 was awful. I'm glad for Stockstill's own health that he didn't come back (would have much rather him never gotten injured at all though). If he wasn't 100% healthy, I'm not sure he would have made it through the game. Urzua took some big shots.

Memphis is going to have a shot at the Peach Bowl if we can drop either UCF or USF in the champ game.
If we don't, likely going to Birmingham or Military Bowl.

Not happening but yeah i'm sure a few fans would come out and watch Memphis whoop them eagles 04-rock

All of these predictions are hot garbage.

I have yet to see a logical prediction set.

None of the matchups for Marshall make a lick of sense.

FIU (5-2) - UTSA, ODU, @FAU, WKU, UMass
UTSA (5-2) - @FIU, UAB, Marshall, @La Tech
WKU (5-3) - @Vandy, @Marshall, MTSU, @FIU
USM (5-3) - @Tennessee, @Rice, Charlotte, @Marshall
FAU (5-3) - Marshall, @La Tech, FIU, @ Charlotte
UNT (5-3) - @La Tech, UTEP, Army, @Rice
UAB (5-3) - Rice, @UTSA, @Florida, UTEP
La Tech (4-4) - UNT, FAU, @UTEP, UTSA
MTSU (3-5) - UTEP, @Charlotte, @WKU, ODU
ODU (2-6) - Charlotte, @FIU, Rice, @MTSU

Rice (1-7), Charlotte (1-7) and UTEP (0-8)

RE: 10/22 Bowl projections
For Thursday 11/2 games here’s who I’m hoping wins to give CUSA best chance to get most teams in a bowl game:

Navy (5-2) @ Temple (3-5) — go Navy as they’ll get 6+ wins eventually
Idaho (3-5) @ Troy (6-2) — go Troy

Why do you say that? Ohio is having a great season. That would be a great matchup!

As a south Texan, I don't know anything about cold weather but I imagine the Bahamas in December would be a welcome sight from folks in WV and OH

RE: 10/22 Bowl projections
Still lots of things that can happen but here's a few of the games for Saturday that "could" help CUSA get extra bowl bids by season's end:

Wisconsin (8-0) at Indiana (3-5) -- Indiana's final 3 games after this are winnable on paper so a loss here gives them no wiggle room

Syracuse (4-4) at Florida St (2-5) -- an FSU win could be a double elimination of sorts as Syracuse's last 3 are 50/50 games while FSU has Clemson next week which should give them 6 losses in their 11 game season

Minnesota (4-4) at Michigan (6-2) -- Minnesota plays Wisconsin (probably a loss) along with 2 50/50 games vs Nebraska and Northwestern

Thanks for doing the research. I hope we get all 10 in. We need MTSU to win.
