So what happens when Western wins? We move to the #1 spot in the power rankings and 2 weeks later play Marshall for the eastern title? Wow do you know how sad that would be for CUSA if Western won this conference this year.

FAU has been lighting up the scoreboard of late so I'd say they have found their offensive groove. That said, I think WKU can keep up with them.

I can see people getting annoyed with oc40. I get annoyed with him as well. Seems to be a younger guy with a chip on his shoulder. Needs to mature

That being said , he is right about a few things. We've taken a lot of crap on here about not belonging. About how insert school is so much better

Of course that was a joke then and is now. None of these schools in this conference are far superior Heck all of the G5 isn't way superior because none of them are really significant. People gotta realize that and get some perspective

Also the attendance stuff is spot on. People ignore that the school didn't have a team at any level until 2001. It takes years to build a fanbase

You also have to realize south Florida isn't a great true fan sports area. Tons of transplants and tons of stuff to do. It's not a podunk hole in the wall area like many in this conference

You gotta win to get fans consistently. I'll never says it's a greats sports area. It's one of the worst just like Atlanta. But there are many reasons for that. There's a lot more to do and many more distractions down there to say the least ..

To the first bolded section. I think he or she just needs to get laid. Whole lotta pent up aggression in his posts to WKUYG.

I challenge him OR you to find a post by WKUYG saying FAU and FIU don’t belong. He’s always defended them saying the presidents of the universities will never give up their free trips to the south.

The second part that’s bolded is spot on about every school not in the P5. We’re all just doing the best damn job we can to be good. It’ll never make a bit of difference in the big picture but the last 2 years have been my funnest as a football fan and I’ve been going to games since the early 70s.

The only folks that bring up attendance are former somethings in their minds. They can’t accept the fact they’ve been left behind. Attendance hasn’t done shittt for schools like ECU. They’re still on the outside looking in like the rest of us that have attendance issues.

I’ve seen what an offensive mind like Brohm did here. We should have went in that direction again but we have an AD that wanted to get cute this time. Now we have a guy trying to undo what we had and bring in Boise ball. (Which I never knew was so boring)

Go back to when you hired Kiffin. You’ll see where I congratulated FAU and Guns probably did too.

Now don’t get too full of yourself when you slap us around this weekend. I’ve got us losing out the rest of the way. So it’ll be good because it’s a road win but it won’t look so impressive at the end of the year.

Hey, if he’s been a true FAU fan for awhile he’s earned his salt.

I’ll be surprised if Lane doesn’t drop 50 on us as well. It wouldn’t shock me to see it in the first half to be honest. There’s hope that this is the week this staff proves me wrong on what I’ve been saying since I watched how listless we were against EKU in the first game.

There’s always hope. But after watching us last week and catching as much of the FAU-UNT game on ESPN as I could I see a total mismatch. Maybe the shittty weather they’re calling for can shake up all those Flarda boys and keep us in the game. Maybe Clayton White’s defense has it’s best game of the year. But I sure wouldn’t put any money on it.

That's true. I never took the pains trying to memorize the names of the individual posters who had said that but there's always been a group who had hated the fact that F_U joined the conference or that, supposedly, FAU and FIU did not pull their weight, or that we do not belong, etc. I usually just ignore it but it is true.

Yeah well tough. I'm sick of people talking about attendance over and over. I'm sure a lot of our people would go to more games if they lived in a hole in the wall city

Signed in for the first time in years just to say that most of y'all said FAU didn't belong and that we were a waste of an addition to CUSA. Others said we are too awful or incompitant to ever make a bowl game again.

We've taken our hits for a decade, including just winning 9 games in the past 3 years. During the past 3 years, how many times did y'all actually respect the potential of this program? How many of your teams DIDN'T run up the score?
