FAU is lmpressive, but if WKU is able to slow them down it could frustrate them somewhat and it may be a different game. The first spot out in Vegas today actually had WKU favored by 1.5, a minute later it jumped to FAU -7, so initially in Vegas WKU was favored, however, a MAJOR better decided otherwise.

I think the real problem we are witnessing here, is that no one pays us any attention and, thus, whenever we beat someone, it is this unexpected surprise, "WOW! Did you see FAU just did THAT?" FAU averaged 49 points in our last 5 contests. FAU did not just score 69 against UNT. FAU scored 58 against "the best C-USA defensive line" (sarcasm), and before that, broke a 9-year losing streak against MTSU in style. And one of the first posts here after we beat Bethune-Cookman of FCS 45:0 was "Did FAU just did that?"

I think everyone would have done better against us if they paid attention.

Hell, I'm not surprised at all. You have always played us tough...especially in Boca. We won't be overlooking you and all.

I didn't see anything from WKU that suggests they could stop or keep up with FAU. Owls win big again.

Unless FAU RB's are frozen when running, I dont see how FAU does not kill us on the ground...Dawson and Bryant are gone from last season, they helped us against the run....Our best run stopper has been hurt so that equals doom for WKU...I think we can score Saturday but agreed it could ugly for our defense....

Hopefully all of WKU coeds are warned early in week about Joey Freshwater coming to town, he will be on the prowl after a huge win against us Saturday....

FAU fans better enjoy it, he will be out the door by Dec. 8th if he keeps this up...

The refs will allow WKU to play "very physical" football.
That can change the tone of a game quickly.

I think Kiffin probably has standards. He will wait til he comes back home for the coeds.

Our 4-2-5 is softer than a hookers funbags.

Next.

RE: FAU at WKU - Who wins?
If WKU's D is weakened with injuries and depth is an issue, then FAU will be tough to stop and here's why. If you look at our game and the UNT game with FAU, both opponents kept getting illegal sub penalties called on their defense because they simply couldn't get their players in before FAU snapped the ball. FAU has the fastest executing offense in the conference hands down. I've heard some people call what FAU does "gimmicky". When you score 69 points on a team that was undefeated in conference play, it's not a gimmick. Right now, I'm picking FAU and it might not be close.

I could be wrong but right now, I think it's Marshall vs. FAU for the east. Marshall's redzone D is legit. That game will be fun to watch.

He has already been seen around local clubs :) FAU does have a very talented student body...

At my age, it is very difficult to get near such short shorts in order to personally inspect.
