Message To Niner Nation...
First of all, congratulations on the win today. Of course I'm not exactly pleased that your 1st win of the season came at UAB's expense, but, as I've said ad nauseum, there are no days off in Conference USA Football. Your team showed tremendous heart, pride and valor, especially Klugh and Mullen .... Damn it, I salute you. Don't give up on that team. They're going to be just fine down the road. I just learned that this was your Homecoming Game, too. I've witnessed and learned over my years that those games have a certain macabre essence to them. As your most famous native son once said..."to be the man, you gotta beat the man." Your Niners manned up tonight. Like I said, I'm crushed by the loss, but impressed by the fight Charlotte displayed. I tell people in Birmingham that don't follow Conference USA as close as I try to do, that they don't know what they're missing. Congratulations and celebrate..04-bow

Thank you. You guys are probably going bowling this year, which is impressive since that clisterf*** cost you guys a few years. I for one am glad UAB is back on the gridiron and I think the conference is better for it. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Thank you for the kind words. I've been a huge UAB fan the last few years and will root for you team every game that they don't have Niners lined up against them.
While I think we have turned on the AD and coach, I don't think anyone in the Nation has any problem with our players. I think they are doing the best they can to be as poorly coached as they are.
It was a good win for the program and the players did a post game victory lap giving high fives to be the kids and alumni.

Thank you..& the feeling is quite mutual....And congratulations on the big 2OT win at Ruston last night. I watched some of that game as well... I must have aged 5 years between those two games alone... I'm planning on occupying "The Rock" next Saturday. I'll be there with bells on, literally.

You're quite welcome. Likewise for the 49ers, and I hope that Klugh and Mullen are seniors!03-lmfao They drove me to the brink of insanity. I've somewhat monitored the level of discontent with Lambert and the AD. Hopefully a strong regular season finish and overspill into 2018 is in the cards for Charlotte. UAB went through that same thing with Neil Callaway. #WithAllYourMight

49ers beat us. No excuses. They deserved to win and I will say that is one of the best D lines we have gone up against yet this year and that qb will be hell to deal with. We won't be your only win. Solid LB as well.

You are too kind. Proud of guys for not giving up but I still want Judy Rose fired and will do what's necessary to see that through.

A shout out about the banner that flew over the stadium pre-game.
