Tulane is much better than some folks want to think with pretty good D. Tulsa destroyed UH despite their record & we have to go to Tulsa. SMU has their best team in years & is the highest scoring team in the conference (I think) & only losses to UH & TT even though they had no trouble scoring. ECU is down but they too have some talent. One game at a time, stay focused, GTG!

Anyone looking past the next 4 games is being extremely myopic. The only one that I would say is a gimme, if I had to choose one, is ECU.

So...IF we win out...would strongly prefer the Peach Bowl, then Cotton, then Fiesta. All based on geography. Even though Dallas and Atlanta are similar distances, Atlanta works much better around New Years.

Players and coaches...worry about and prepare for Tulane.

Not to get political but there's only one man in your sig who isn't a liar and he's been judged to be the worst POTUS in the modern era, the poor peanut farmer. How ironic is that?

I'd like a bowl that challenges our defense but doesn't get us beat 55-10 or something like that.

Well, you did get political. The worst POTUS is president right now, and it is not even close. And while reasonable people can disagree, your current president tinged style of choice to bash a good man like Jimmy Carter, seems weird. It is just a signature pointing out that we used to have class. Even W, who when looked at in his totality and was infinitely worse than Jimmy Carter, was a good man. Carter gets tweaked by reactionary un studied typical Rs constantly. Thanks for crapping on a good thing. Typically, signatures get left alone, but thanks. Ass. The point was even poor presidents had some class. Our current one has none, nor any redeeming values. Not in the mood for more e mail nonsense. Dam man. And done.

The reason to keep politics out of these posts is simply because...no short post...is going to change anyone's mind on anything. So, why even get started. It is best to keep politics out of message boards. You can look at what has happened to the NFL and see, politics and sports really do not mix very well.

Any NY6 bowl is obviously the preference. Win out and beat UCF/USF and I think that Group of 5 spot is ours.

If not that... BHam vs Tennessee is fine with me. Think the Tigers would absolutely SMOKE them! Would be fun!

Not sure Tennessee would be bowl eligible but.....Texas A&M would be a great match up. We would also get to see their band at half time which is worth the trip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSgTX1Uz1Tk

Fiesta Bowl will be the BigXII champ, if they are not in the playoff, which as of now looks like they won't. So Oklahoma or MAYBE Oklahoma State.

Central Florida beat Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl a couple of years ago. They'll probably get to go back.

TCU is undefeated and ranked #4

Doh! Forgot about that.

I could have sworn I saw a some sort of "ranking" or list of early favorites to make the playoff and they weren't in it. I also heard some pundit saying the Big XII would come down to OK and WVa. Guess they too were forgetting about TCU, who has already beaten WVa.

I’m almost certain the G5 slot will be the Peach Bowl
