ODU loses a game they should have won. Officiating needs some education. ODU with one second left had an illegal formation called against them. The game should have been over, however, the officials allowed them to have another play. ODU falls 2-5.

CAA games with both teams scoring in (or near) the 30's have been rare this season. Good for both of these programs regarding their improvement this season - that is, versus previous seasons.

Elon up 35-34 w/ 10:30 left in the game at URI.

UNH leading Towson 13-3 with 12 minutes left 2Q.

BC dominating the Frenchies 34-7 late 3Q. Wow!

Elon stays undefeated in the CAA with another close win. This time 35-34. 6 straight wins and all by 8 pts or less.


UNH crushing Towson 33-3 near halftime.

Elon beat Rhodey by one, 35-34 (missed RI PAT). Rams had the ball to the Elon 20 with seconds left. Could have kicked the field goal to win the game, passed instead, which was picked. STUPID! Game over.

This game tells us a couple of things about Elon, who we play last game of the regular season. It tells us how good they are. They aren't. They have led a charmed life this season, winning all six FCS games they have played by an average margin of victory of 3.8 points. But more importantly, it tells us that they have always found a way to win the close games.

So, we had better dominate them early and lead big.

Northern Iowa up 19 - 7 over Youngstown State in the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Western Illinois up 10-3 at ndsu

Times getting short for Youngstown State if they're going to pull it out. UNI still up 19 - 7 with 6 minutes remaining in the game.

Pretty funny how many NDSU fans were bragging about the win last week thinking they may have been their strongest win.
A lot can change in a week.

5 Wofford lost to 16 samford.

South Dakota will lose unless a miracle happens and NDSU will win barring a miracle from Western Illinois.
