Global Findings of Prevalence
45.8m Estimate number enslaved

58% Of those living in slavery are in 5 countries
India*
China
Pakistan*
Bangladesh*
Uzbekistan

https://www.globalslaveryindex.org/findings/

Quote:The countries with the highest estimated prevalence of modern slavery by the proportion of their population are North Korea, Uzbekistan, Cambodia, India, and Qatar. In North Korea, there is pervasive evidence that government-sanctioned forced labour occurs in an extensive system of prison labour camps while North Korean women are subjected to forced marriage and commercial sexual exploitation in China and other neighbouring states. In Uzbekistan, the government continues to subject its citizens to forced labour in the annual cotton harvest.

But instead they want to harp on what happened in the past instead of trying to change the life of people who are living in slavery today.

How Noble and Righteous of them... complaining about that none of us can change instead of helping those suffering today.

Yes...ridiculous.

I just posted the day before that human trafficking is one of the biggest issues facing our world and that it is tragic that the issue is mostly ignored. It's pretty much ignored by our elected officials and the media as well.

From the thread title, I thought this was going to be a post about the Democratic Party and their social programs.
