Like Weinstein, this has been a problem that has been out there since the beginning of the motion picture industry. There were rumors that Shirley Temple and Judy Garland were molested when they were children. Back in the 70s Todd Bridges (Different Strokes) was reportedly molested.

Don't know about that, most of the actresses accusing Weinstein were young and attractive at the time.

Kids are shushed by power and shame and parents are shushed by Money and denial.
