Just curious.

Who is the next supercoach that you and Tillman are ready to make a big offer to? Do you think supercoach will be totally cool with a program that fires a coach 7 games into the season?

Well for one if he is a super coach he wouldn’t care what happened to the last coach. Especially if the last coach was clearly a bad coach. So thats dumb logic...

Houston isn’t getting another coach like Herman because Tillman is trying to handcuff them in their contract to keep them from jumping.

The problem with expecting instant gratification and 10+ wins EVERY SINGLE YEAR is that you can wind up running off the right guy because you didn't give him enough time. Southern Miss made that mistake, and it took a few years for them to get things to be serviceable again.

Unless I missed the extra game makeup, I think you are right, but at 7-4 instead.

Exactly. UC would have ditched Butch Jones in his first season (4-8) and missed out on 10 and 11 win seasons that followed. Didn't work out for Tennessee, but did for us haha.

Firing a coach after one season would set your program back years voluntarily. If you are going to do that, at least cheat first and have the NCAA do it for you.

So by this logic a coach that goes 0-11 in his first season should not be fired got it.

Sorry but applewhite is clearly a bad coach and needs to go. Levin won 8 games every year and no one would say h was even decent.
