1) How the heck did you lose to Nebraska and especially SMU?
2) Damn shame you didn't get a chance to beat Miami there in Jonesboro
This game, like the USA-Troy game, runs the danger of being over analyzed. Basically, state ran a great game and their opponent got behind on the road, then got desperate, then got unraveled. ULL is probably not as bad as this result, and state is probably not as good (if they were, they wouldn't have lost to anyone).
Here's what I saw from the game from the perspective of teams that have to play ULL and state
ULL - Kind of hard to say, but it looks like their secondary was a mess. Not just getting beat, but not even being there. I suspect they'll fix that going forward but that's something to try to exploit. It also looks like a team with a competent QB that can also scramble/rush is a problem for them. I don't know how ULL beat Idaho, but I suspect USA will be looking at those tapes. ULL didn't bother to put any real pressure on the QB either. What ULL did was NEITHER defend the pass well nor pressure the QB. I don't care who you're playing, you're not winning many games if you can't do either of those things.
state - hard to really find much. But I think one thing is to try to get some pressure on the QB. This can be done even more effectively if your defense can actually credibly defend the pass. Looks like their QB, if he runs, likes to run up the middle. Special teams were a bit 'meh' for a team that was clicking. If Hansen is all that, then get up in his face. He certainly will be all that if you don't pressure him and give him a 5 yard buffer right in front of him to start running.

I expect ULL to come to Mobile mad and motivated. And we should be prepared for the team that showed up vs state to not be the same team.
