From my perspective, FAU might actually have more talent than both. Especially on offense. WKy has the beat QB and good talent at receiver but OL is not good. Marshall has the best defense by far.

I would pick Marshall over both. Think FAU and WKY are close. Prolly take FAU due to there running game.

WKU lost its core pieces from the O-line ,, until these new guys get things figured out , we wont have a run game. Unfortunately Jeff Brohm was not a A+ recruiter, but he coach definitely coach. New coach Samford is lacking talent at the most important spots this season.

2. Loved the food trucks for concessions. Had some amazing nachos.
3. That cannon about made me pee my pants and spill the previous mentioned nachos!
4. 3-Q was one of the worst quarter of WKU Football I'd seen. Did we run a single rush play? Play calling was terrible, defense was terrible. Outscored 17-0.
5. The unnecessary roughness was a bad call. The ODU defender was going for the ball and landed on WKU player. But, those type of plays and calls are part of the game.
6. Refs botched the end of the game. The clock was rolling and should have been a run-off.

There is a free parking garage (or 2?) and other paid lots all around.

I asked a couple of the lot attendants and they did not tell me that. I found street parking.

Parking garage next to the Ted and walk over to tailgating is the way to go. And free.

3. The one behind the library is free as well. But that one is like 2 garages. So 4 free garages. I think the only parking garage that requires a pass is the one right by the stadium.

Yeah, well, I'd say there are just a couple of teams who would question it.

We beat you guys last year by about 60 in your own stadium. Neither team has changed THAT much. The difference is our coaching staff.

You are delusional. We are not the same team as last year. Flush out your headgear, new guy

I didn’t say you were the same team as last year. I said neither team has changed enough in one year for you to have better talent than us. No doubt it’s much closer, but our issue has been a coaching staff in training, not talent. FYI, I’m not new. I’ve just posted very little.

Fair enough. My apologies. We shall see.

One by the baseball field also needs a pass. I got one for my parents so they don't have to walk from white lot.

Posted from mobile device. Hopefully it's coherent.

That's the point. WKU fans shouldn't even broach the subject. If you want to dog our facilities or recruiting or our play calling, have at it. Y'all are clearly ahead of us in these areas. But WKU fans have no place to be judgemental about attendance or fans.

I've never understood our attendance issues. I get why attendance dropped through the floor during our FBS transition years. We were TERRIBLE. But, many of us still attended every game (myself included). However, the past 4 years we've put a great and very entertaining product on the field. I don't get the fan apathy. One problem is we have a lot of "fans" that tailgate but don't go to the games. We also have a lot of students that show up for a half or so and leave. Go figure. I believe some of it can be attributed to the fact that WKU (actually the entire state in general) is traditionally a basketball school. I just wish the community as a whole would support and appreciate the program and its accomplishments. The real fans are quite rabid. The casual fans not so much.

Attendance has been beaten to death on here, but the biggest factor for WKU attendance sucking is that half of our alums and most fans without degrees from WKU in area are UK or UofL fans who do not view WKU vs. UNCC or ODU big time enough to come out, go to the game or even spend money on where they got their degree from...Instead they had rather go to or spend money on UK/UofL unless a Power conference team is coming to Smith Stadium, if that's the case then we get 5-7k extra casual fans who are there.....Its sad but really what it boils down too.....We have 10k hardcore WKU fans who are WKU first, second, third and will be there every game whatever the weather is, the team we are playing, etc....We have 5k-8k fans who will be there most games minus 2 or 3 as long as weather cooperates......Its been the same since Day 1 in FBS minus the opening game in our newly two sides stadium.....

MTSU fan talking trash has the same issues but worse with a football school like UT, so no room to talk.

Enough with the attendance issues. Our respective fan bases are what they are. WKU's base is disappointing, but it is what it is and it's not going to change much. We've had incredible success and the needle hasn't move much. We all need to work with what we have.

Kudos to the ODU fanbase, 4 (now 5) straight losses and their fans came out in a great fashion.
