We had better find a passing game with Thompson out. He was our key guy. Kind of like having an Eric Page or Lance Moore out there. You always know they will get open at least 5-8 times a game for a long gain. I hope he is imparting a lot of knowledge to the Johnsons...

Who knows how the game at CMU would have gone in dry weather, but that win impressed me--Rockets had several things going against them & still owned almost all 4 quarters. As a result, even though we still have some challenges, I'm going Toledo 34, Akron 24. As someone wise on this Board often says: just win, baby!

I'm going with 31-24 Rockets.

Rather than predict, I am able to confirm that noon as a start time sucks. One-o-clock is bad enough. And two of them yet. [Need a Smilie for 'Not a morning person'.]

Akron is on an upswing, but their win at WMU was a bit of a fluke due to the weather issues and the way the game played out. Although they should not be taken lightly, Toledo is the much better team.

If Toledo plays up to its potential, they should win the game going away.
