I would be disgusted if I were him too. His son is being used in a political back and forth thanks to a slander job from a left-wing Rep.

Check the timeline. Trump mentioned Kelly before the politician from Florida said anything about Trump's call to her constituent. It was in response to criticism he was facing that he hadn't said anything about the soldiers who died in Niger.

Sure, that Florida politician just happened to be riding in that car at the same time Trump made the call. Well I call BS. Fake reporting for political propaganda.

That soldier is like her godson. That politician was also like his mother that she helped raised and mentor to be a good person. She does have the right to be angry as well.

All the more reason that she's exaggerating.

Again the left wing media tries to create negative stuff about Trump. Prior to the phone call they were saying Trump hasn't said anything about Niger, he hasn't called any family members etc. Then when he does part of what he says gets cherry picked. What about the other 3 soldiers.

This is on President Trump, when at the Rose Garden he tried to say President Obama did not contact Gold Star families. And it was President Trump that said ask Kelly. Look I am disgusted with the Dem Rep who is also exploiting President Trump on this subject.

So please be honest, on a sensitive subject like this.

What does Rep. Frederica Wilson have to do with President Trump mentioning Gen. Kelly or his son?

What makes Rep. Wilson left-wing? Do you know her politics other than being a Democrat? Do you know her voting history or record? Her platform? What if she is a conservative Democrat?

If Rep. Wilson was with the widow of the fallen officer, and heard the conversation with others because the call was on speaker phone, and she says the President said "He knew what he was signing up for" during a call of condolence, how is saying that's what he said slander if he actually said it?

Since President Trump frequent lies and/or misrepresents things, why would you think Rep. Wilson is the untruthful one?

What does Gen. Kelly's son have to do with a officer killed in Niger?

Even if President Obama didn't call General Kelly, General Kelly was invited to a breakfast for Gold Star Families at the White House. So doesn't that basic take any kind of power out of President Trump's petty, insensitive deflection?

Even if you are a fan of President Trump's horrific handling of the Presidency of the United States, shouldn't you be upset that he seems to be insensitive to our servicemen who were killed while railing against NFL players by saying they are disrespecting servicemen?

You are asking for people to show empathy and to critically think. I hope you have better luck than I in your endeavors.
