I would rather play a real football team. And basically, this ^. Please don't make me go back to that hellhole called Birmingham. If I HAVE to, I will once again stay the heck away from the convention area where you can't get any kind of food or drink service, and stay in the Hoover area in the Soho District with Midtown-like cool restaurants, a real neighborhood, and the modern and quirky and wonderful Aloft Hotel.

Guys, we'll be playing in the NY6 bowl if we take care of business on the field to our team's capabilities. Talking about playing UTK or even another opponent in the Birmingham bowl is depressing at this point. If we win out, we're in the NY6 bowl. Don't want to even consider anything else until that is off the table - and I don't think it will be.

Pros => being able to beat UT;
Pros => being on the same field as UT in a bowl game creates an image that we are an 'equal' so to speak as a program (not saying it is true, BUT, traditionally $EC teams play other P5 teams in their bowl games).
Cons => Birmingham;
Cons => losing to UT when they are coach-less (pretty much guaranteed) and not at all very good (historically speaking);

Bowl games are exhibitions, except for like ten of them.
