I've heard a lot about how Knight's left handedness has made it easier for him to be a shot blocker. But is the opposite true? Is it easier for opposing big men to block his shots as well?

I always felt being a lefty was an offensive advantage due to defenders not adjusting from the norm of guarding righties.

With regard to Gustys, he was far less of a scoring threat last year without Juan'ya Green's extraordinary cat and mouse play to utilize him, and consequently was missing in action on the All-CAA teams last year. He is a rebounding machine, but unless their guards set him up, he is not a major scoring threat. Whitman owned him during that 2nd half stretch at Kaplan last year. The league has big men, but not consistently good big men outside Cacok and Gustys' rebounding. Knight will make his mark, if he comes with fire and focus every game.

Glover not on the roster that was handed out. Whitman was there sitting with Schlotman. Dixon and Britt there also.

We only have 12 men on the roster counting Glover. If Glover is not on the roster, we only have 11 men. This worries me quite a bit.

Yes, and he went to Jamaica. He wasn't listed on the roster they handed out.

For those of us that couldn't make the homecoming, how about posting your observations?

It is homecoming weekend and Jack is a W&M grad. Why shouldn't he be there? After what has transpired, I'm sure the coaches have moved on from any Ill feelings that they may have initially had. Ultimately it hurt the team and it ended Jack's career. I'm sure if there was a do over, things would be different. I wonder what Jack's plans are now? It's a shame he isn't a student here anymore. I think having Whitman added to the roster puts them in the top half of the league. Perhaps if he enrolls, he would be eligible for the 2nd half of the season?

He did fulfill his obligation so no ill feelings whatsoever although he could have handled it differently. If he can come back, he is more than welcomed.

Didn’t want to start a new thread for just one comment so I am resurrecting this one.

Take a squad that finished 17-14 (10-8) and subtract Prewitt, Dixon, Whitman, Malinowski and Schlottman. Add three players who score 106 points combined.

What do you get?

A squad that is currently 17-11 (10-7)!

Truly a magical season, a gift for all Tribe fans to cherish.

Hopefully we will have a large turnout tomorrow to THANK the team tomorrow.
