If its 70 degrees and sunny on Saturday last week and we play in front of a huge homecoming crowd... we win that game running away... Team was forced to re-juice and it barely can juice to begin with... Staying on campus the night before the game day also doesn't really work well... which is why coaches and players stay in a local hotel on nights before home games... That may have had more of an effect on the team energy than anything else...

I don’t know how you can definitively say that. Both teams were at an equal disadvantage.

How do you think Akron felt, having to drive 75 miles to find another hotel?

I am saying that playing the game at the original time with a huge homecoming crowd creates a much different dynamic... and an energy that I think WMU rides to a victory...

Since we are on the topic of other MAC games, I'm not sure Ball State would have a winning record in an FCS conference this season. They are getting plowed every game.

CMU is a bit Jekyll & Hyde. I'm not sure what to expect from them. There was a time I penciled this game as a win. Now, I'm not sure.
