The UAB 247 article says Minter won't sign until December 2018.

I don't think anybody was saying anything bad about Heath at all. I hope whatever the issue is gets cleared up and he gets on the field as soon as possible. It really looked like Dee was just trying to sort out scholarship numbers, not smear anybody's name.

I hope you are wrong about DJ Law though.

Not sure if he is in your numbers, but Austin Watkins reopened his recruitment per his twitter account.

Yeah he was, didn't know him decommitted saw him still getting offers. Can't say I'm upset as I hoped we bring in a true freshman like the kid from Minor (Evans) or Pinson (Dailey) or Mo Edwards from( Thompson). Pretty good year for instate WO's.

Glad Eugene Minter is coming home in 2019,he was in my numbers too. Kevin Howard (Gardendale) looks like he's still available too.

I know posted before the true info came out in the 247 article, and after I found out Watkins decommitted.

I was. 04-cheers

We got to replace 40 plus seniors after next year was my point, and three positions need depth quickly. I think we are ok with Carter Wood joining the OL, while losing 7 seniors. But the WR and DL position needs help. Also T. Blake and B. McClain could get an extra year because of injuries this year.

I always assume we will use a few players here and there just because that's the way it works. We do definitely have some depth issues, hopefully we can get them sorted out.

I hope we don't but it will be interesting to see how Clark and Co. attacks it.

And Holyfield UAB is going to be deep when it comes to the Run game next year.

Nuru Tinch looks like he could be a special back. Also, I wouldn't forget about Lucious Stanley or Donnie Lee in that mix. I really think that Stanley was starting to show his potential before he went down. Lee is slowly learning all facets of playing running back but has shown he can make plays with the ball in his hands. Recruiting rankings and high school honors don't make you a good college running back. Just look at Jordan Howard and Spencer Brown.

Tinch is like Spencer Brown. Barring injury, he will play as a Freshman.

Saying Kalin Heath's name on this board is like saying Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. 05-stirthepot

Anyway, 2019 is the season I'm really concerned about after all these Juniors and seniors leave. We will have major holes to fill which starts now with recruiting. We'll just have to wait and see if there is a drop off that year.

Looking for potential position change like, Cash to slot receiver and signing a true freshman WO. The Oline should be ok with potential impact signees, should have seven guys returning. The Dline I think will be heavily impacted at the moment with 2-3 guys returning. It's almost like we have to lose some guys this year to compensate for it.

There will always be some gone..........Chigozie and McCoin are gone. You figure some of the Jrs' who have graduated, and are not getting much playing time will move on.

Chigozie is gone too? What is going on? Who else bit the bullet?

Chigozie left during camp. Wasn't in the rotation at the time he left.
