Reminds me of that UM punter that botched the snap two years ago vs. MSU. He pretty much had to go into hiding.

I can understand something close to that: A MAC team should at least be ranked Top 25 every year, barring a once-in-a-while off-year that's as often as going to a NY6 bowl. I think that's asking a little too much, but I believe the frustration of teams in our position (and NIU's a few years back) is due to not being as good as they Could be. Much the same as, say, UM fans flustered that with their HC, their QB situation is not good and hence, their team could/should be better.

That Akron game -- us with so many more yards than they, but certain play calls and ill-timed penalties (and too many) almost like someone was wanting to discreetly throw the game or something -- it's frustrating. Hey, we lose @NIU or @Toledo in hard fought game? Yeah. Even both if we played decent. But Akron at home playing like that? Understandable WTF-frustration.

BUT, learning from that game and a wake-up call that we can't be like that moving forward... I'll take that Akron game that way if it means beating @NIU or @Toledo, and beating everyone we should beat here on out.

same thing happened with Butch Hampton after the cotton bowl. Some people need to focus on what is important in life.

Nothing surprises me with semi-anonymous social media nowadays.

I challenge anyone to find anyone else on this forum that feels we should be "in Top 25 and a NY6 bowl every year".
