Wonder what the news would be like if stick and ball sports arrested player for fighting during games?
This is a part of the game we have been trying to eliminate. Thus the strong penalties for fighting.
Locally we had a driver who had a championship all but wrapped up in one class and was battling for a championship on a second class. He decided to fight and today he is sitting out the rest of the season and his championships chance eliminated.
Imagine what would happen if a NBA player or NFL player was suspended for the season for fighting.

A referee in Argentina was shot and killed by a player he ejected from a game on Sunday, according to published report.
The player, retrieved a gun out of his bag after he received a red card, shot Cesar Flores, 48, in the head, neck and chest, Efe news agency reported. Another player, 25-year-old Walter Zarate, was injured in the attack, although he's expected to survive.

In south America there has been some violent behavior by futbal players and their fans more than once.

My kill the Ump/Ref days ended when i yelled it at a Tiger game at the MSC and the ref fell dead on the court.
