Conference USA attendance update - October 14, 2017
I always find this interesting and see questions about it a lot on this board. Obviously some teams have had more home games, which is reflected in the total attendance. Take away UAB's first game and the average attendance has been 25,770, which would still have them at #1 in the conference for average attendance.

UAB

Total - 122,523

Interesting figures. Our local sports media triesto bash UAB for its attendance figures, yet, we're #1 in our conference, and are currently out drawing at least one NFL franchise. Try as they might to smite UAB, they will fail. The Phoenix is rising

That first game was brilliant by all parties involved. The return was always going to draw extra people, but having an opponent who had previously traveled well was perfect. I understand that game is always going to be an outlier, but it's fantastic that we have kept the attendance consistent since then. At this point it should be a non issue.

Just to note, our 4 home games are all in the top 10 attended for CUSA home teams.

And Alabama A&M had just over 2000 for their last home game.

I bet their SID guy doesn't even know that. He's too busy counting our crowds with hi-res drone recon photos. Or maybe satellites. He's not going to like what he sees.
