Rolleyes Houston Fans I know how you felt Last Season w Herman
Part of it is media pushed to have a 'Golden Boy' Coaching Candidate. Last year it was Herman and this year so far it's Frost. UCF wins a game big and instead hearing praise on this team it's over 50% comments or articles on what job he is taking by December 1st. It partially kills the enjoyment on what might become a special season.

Really, so I guess going 11-2 and having your coach taken by Oregon doesn't count? 03-yawn

the Taggart move was more of a surprise that didn't get as much talk the entire season. Herman and Frost are/was being talked about every week before both teams played 6 games.

With Houston I think it became such a Locker Room distraction that it cost them a few games

Fuente was talked about around this same time after the Ole Miss win. Killing it at Virginia Tech

I do agree with that. Herman was out the door early and I think that's partly why the Coogs finished 4th in the conf

I am not saying Charlie Strong has really done anything amazing from a coaching standpoint but due to recruiting, I wouldn't be surprised to see him offered and take the UF job at seasons end.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Frost go elsewhere and Norvell offered the Tennessee job.

I would think that would be it for the AAC this year.

I'm hoping that Tennessee is dumb enough to waste a bunch of time chasing after Chip Kelly, Bob Stoops, and Jon Gruden while Norvell ends up elsewhere. Tuberville would look great in Tennessee Orange.

Hell, if Fritz wins 6 or 7 games at Tulane then that talk will start. Anyone who can win at Tulane is going to get noticed.

Nebraska folks are talking about Frost, but I don't think he is a good fit there. They don't get those kinds of athletes. Now either Navy or Army coach, or Tulane run a system Nebraska couDL recruit to.

Herman was rumored to South Carolina in year ONE.

However, where Herman killed us the most is not only did he flee to Austin, he took a handful of our best recruits with him. Kids he spent UH money on to recruit. He's a scumbag.

If Frost leaves, I hope he leaves with a bit more honor.
