Yea I hate to say it but Drew Anderson was getting Buffalo's offense moving late in the first half, before he got injured, and had close to 190 yards passing, though some of it was yards after catch. Buffalo was not able to run the ball much at all against us, but it might not have mattered. If we hadn't knocked him out of the game we probably lose.

Actually, I wouldn't mind if you lost to Akron. Nothing personal.

I really hope Lester rips into this team for the pathetic effort they had today, we don’t look like defending mac champs. Coaching staff really needs to take a step back this week and really regroup cause I know the emu Hurons will be ready for us. Senior leadership needs to step up too
We lost, and we've come close to losing other games, because of poor game management. Pure and simple. I know that saying this aggravates some who wish two promote Lester, but a reoccurring theme seems to be horrendous decisions and game management. I have already mentioned, ad nauseam, my disdain for this commitment to running the ball on early Downs, when defenses have eight or nine guys in the box, and can stop even a very good running game. We do nothing to keep defenses honest. If we went 50/50 on the past run calls we would perform much better, and would get the pass game going, which in the end does nothing but open up the Run game. But besides that there have been horrendous decisions, like the decision in the Michigan State game to decline the 15-yard penalty. That was off the charts stupid, as was the decision yesterday to kick the extra point instead of going for two when we could have made it a three-point game. The end of the game Fiasco yesterday was coaching as well. You can blame the quarterback, which Lester did, but there were a lot of poor choices made on the sidelines yesterday, and even those that were made by players on the field are the type of mistakes which don't occur with better Coached teams.
We lost a game yesterday where we dominated most statistical categories. In short, our players were much better than theirs, but we lost anyway. This is a horrendous reflection on our coaches. We have come close to losing other games, where again we had much better Talent on the field, and probably more experience as a team, but still put ourselves in a position where we may have lost.
There are some who might suggest that we will get better as Lester has the chance to coach up this team. I don't understand why people say that. He has had the same amount of time as all the other coaches in college football have had to get his team performing at its highest level. Unfortunately, we are regressing not progressing. This does not bode well for our future games.
Unless we mix up our offense, and become just the opposite of predictable with our play calling, we will put our offense in difficult situations, most namely third-and-long. Predictability is the Hallmark of poor offenses at any level in football..
Excellent post, right on!

We don't play Akron. We just have BG next and then it's MAC West opponents.

Jarvion is within striking distance of Sanford’s rushing record and Davis’ TD record. It would be nice if a bunch of us make the trip to Ypsilanti and GO CRAZY when he surpasses each mark.

I'll guess something like EMU -3. I think they'll give EMU the slight edge, being home. We still have some carryover sparkle from last year where bettors may still give us an eye.
Obviously betting lines are not necessarily what Vegas thinks the score will be, but how the millions of bettors will perceive the game to be and how they'll bet. Some will see EMU's 2-4 record and think they aren't good, but all of their losses was by one possession (against good competition).
Opener is WMU -4

We could win of course. It just depends on if we really DID learn/grow from that Akron loss, or if that's just words.

We'll have 2 heading over for the EMU game. First time in their stadium, hoping for a large contingency of Bronco supporters!
