Memphis @ Houston
Me and a group of friends have decided to make the trip!
This is all our first time in Texas and we want to know all the goodies.

Best places to eat?
Scenic places for pictures?
Tourist attractions?

Would love y'alls ideas to help us schedule our days there!

If we are lucky the coogs will be the ones to cancel the game and give Memphis the win. There is no reason to bother playing this game with our head coach.

Only lost 2 games when in reality we should only have 2 wins. Applewhite is terrible and we can’t afford to give any coach longer than a year in this critical time.

You aren’t going to fire a coach in year 1. What critical time are you talking about?

Its critical for out recruiting and momentum from the herman era. If a coach is not good you dont keep him around. Its excuses like “oh its only his first year” that lead to programs going into decline. Sorry but applewhite sucks he has only gotten worse as the year has gone on its time for him to go.

You Tennessee boys need to go to Whataburger.

Also get you some Breakfast Klub, some Boudreaux's or Papadeuax's (one of the many restaurants owned by our top booster and BOR chairman Rockets owner Fertitta)

Hit the food trucks in Midtown, get food from Halal Guys, House of Pies. Too much good food here in Houston and that's only scratching the surface.

You aren’t getting many takers for the job if you fire him in year 1

I haven't seen Houston play yet, but you have to realize that Applewhite is going to be different than Herman. Things won't be done quite the same way. There will be a bit of an adjustment period.
I wish y'all the best (except when you play Memphis of course)

ah man, years ago I went to Texas with my church Bellevue Baptist in the 1980s.
We stopped by Whataburger.
I remember ordering two hamburgers. Those suckers were as big as a freaking PLATE. I stuffed the second burger in my backpack. Ate it over a period of the day
