RE: Rest of our home slate in Jeopardy?
After we get this weekend's mess figured out, it's back to address the original question of the thread. I'm no expert in this stuff, but what happens if the field is essentially ruined and needs to be replaced? (time to book another bodybag game to help pay). Where to play?
Those weird turf bubbles don't look promising.

Insurance windfall. Not just the physical damage, but lost revenue.

RE: Rest of our home slate in Jeopardy?
Repairing the field will be entirely possible for games down the line. I used to put these fields in on the summer when I went to Western for a competitor of Field Turf, and they can do wonders on these things. Likely more rubber will need to be brought in and laid down. Because of the bubbles, some of the portions of the field are likely not straight. The panels are sewed together and straightening the field out will likely be the biggest challenge. Western has some capable folks to maintain this field, but they may need to bring in some field turf repair guys, but those guys can do a bunch especially since we have some time after today. I have replaced whole sections of Field in a day.
I don't see how they can or will play on this thing today. K College might be a packed house.

They do have lots of standing room on the hills on the home side and along the fence. Going to be interesting to say the least. We will probably break K College attendance record

How's the wind out there? Pretty gusty here in the Detroit area. Not much on the longer passes or long field goal attempts, I imagine.

Looks like the worst of the weather is now east of Jackson. Should be a great afternoon for football. Winds in kzoo about 17mph.
