I'm not convinced you guys will be a lot better this year. I do however think if Tubby is allowed to stay the course, you will be better within the next couple. Sometimes though, less is more, and getting rid of the toxic players that were on the team could prove to be a positive sooner rather than later. I hope several teams are on their way up. UConn and Memphis being top 25-50 teams would be good for all of us.

houston beat baylor (who finished #12 last year, likely preseason top 25)...in its scrimmage ..gray had 25points, 11 assist

it was a scrimmage so i wont make it into something it wasnt..but im super hyped for the season, the trash talking cincy and smu who said houston will be worse, and those that said we wont even in the conversation or not even in the same tier as ucf might be in for a surprise,..if we are really our #6/#7 projection everyone has, that means 7 teams from this league are making the tourney because we are putting out our best team in 20years and our last 2 finished 3rd in the league

Memphis and UCONN are in a very similar situation. Bad apples are now gone, and we have a bunch of (experienced) newcomers. I think both teams will perform better than many here think...
