While it appears Coastal will probably have 7 losses. If they go 6-6, technically, the become the last bowl eligible team if there are not enough 6-6 teams. There are placed before 5-7 APR teams. The term for FCS transition should be Conditional Bowl Eligible. Similar to 6-7 teams in the regular season who I believe get placed over the FCS transition team.

Duke University 992 Needs 1 wins
University of Minnesota, Twin Cities 992 Needs 2 wins
Vanderbilt University 992 Needs 2 wins
University of Louisville 988 Needs 1 wins
Rice University 984 Needs 2 wins
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign 984 Needs 3 wins
University of Maryland, College Park 984 Needs 3 wins
Georgia Institute of Technology 983 Needs 2 wins
Middle Tennessee State University 983 Needs 2 wins
Indiana University, Bloomington 982 Needs 3 wins
