I would not be shocked to see Birmingham or Montgomery to cut a deal with CUSA to get us. That said I want to go to New Orleans and lay another beat down on Troy

if the SEC continues to produce teams that SUCK...we may end up taking one of those spots at the Birmingham Bowl

What is the fascination with wanting us to be in the Birmingham Bowl. I get it, we're from Birmingham and the feel good story, but I also don't get it. It's Birmingham. We've been here all season.

I won't be upset if we ended up in BHM, but I would be disappointed for the kids. These guys deserve a Miami, Orlando, or New Orleans bowl trip. Somewhere fun and rewarding. Any bowl is rewarding for us fans, but there are better options for the players.

Oh man, this would be awesome. Our Disney trip ends on December 15th. I could just stay over and go to the game on the 16th.

I want the Boca Bowl or St. Pete Bowl vs. an AAC team. Preferably Memphis. Tell them to bring the Bones, and that We'll worry about getting them home.

UAB playing a bowl game in Birmingham would be a slap in the face. Honestly, it should be anywhere outside of the state of Alabama but at the very least the Birmingham Bowl should be a 100% no go

UAB better be in the CUSA bowl lineup. Not a cast off. Especially not a cast off anywhere in the state of Alabama. The players and fans deserve better.

That’s just stupid. We go to the most prestigious bowl offered. Would you rather pull a La Tech and turn down a bowl invite and end up staying at home?

That's not what I said. If offered more than one bowl, UAB should absolutely pick the one that is not in Birmingham.

Hate to be a pessimist (and I HATE Louisville), but wouldn't they cream us?

Doesnt matter. You take the biggest game against the best opponent.

As long as it's not an extra Hawaii home game, or in any other equally difficult place to get to.
